Hello , my name is Peter and i am a little embarrassed to be here to be honest as I have never had reason to ask anyone for relationship advice before now.

I have been forbidden to "spread" about certain topics with my friends - it just creates arguments - so I figured it would be good to ask and discuss in a more impersonal and anonymous environment

I re-read what I wrote and I can't see how I said I am embarrassed to be among the people here - your comment has made me feel like there is really no hope for me if something simple like this is misunderstood.

Why are you embarrassed? Don't be. Although if you can't handle these people above ^ then you may as well leave, because trust me, it'll get worse, before it gets better lol. Trust me, I know.

well the post i wrote in the marriage forum has yet to be published, but it is entitled:

Thanks for the support - perhaps your own problems are what are making you be cruel to strangers..? No wonder you are here. I'm leaving this conversation now.

OP ignore any negative comments you get unless you feel you deserve.

why dont you give us more info? what topics are you banned from discussing and why? is there any other issues in your relationship that you havnt mentioned and how long have you been together?

why did you come here? is it for advice on how to fix it or whether you should break up with her.

the more detail you give-the more constructive advice you will get.

Lol all so unnecessary. HIA's initial response was perfectly appropriate and all this could have been avoided if you'd replaced the above with 'Oops, didn't mean it that way, my bad'. Silly boy. Word of advice OP, when you come to a forum like this it's better to just go with the flow than be defensive and thereby inflame things further.
