If you want to know if she likes you, you need to ask her.
Out of curiosity: why do you even want to know, if you don't want to date her?
As for Christmas, you could give her a plushie made by you. There are tutorials on youtube.

I guess that's the obvious way...I've tried to give her a few hints, but I have no clue if she figured them out or not...
Our class is having an end of semester potluck in three weeks; maybe I can start a game of cards with her.
Eh...I don't think that a plushie is the right gift for her...
I never said that I DON'T want to date her, I just don't want to YET.

Yes this is the truth. This happens to everyone. And eventually when you are an adult you will find someone to marry and hopefully you make a good choice. Even when married feelings can fade as well and that can be a reason for getting divorced. Such as life dude.

I'm almost positive that no one else in the class is interested in her...
I really should ask her though...I just haven't gotten a good chance yet.

So, at class a few days ago, once it twice, we found ourselves looking at each other. When that happened, she would grin, and after a few seconds turn away to listen to the teacher. Do you think that this means anything???

I think she became pregrant after you looked at her.
Better go and talk with her. They like it because they cant become pregrant from that. As less you wait as easier it is to do.
