Is there a reason why psychiatry/psychology are not evil?

Both studies are merely designed to punish/penalise their patients.

    mental illness doesn't exist. it's a fact.

Moreover, mental illness by those "people" is defined as not acting per "social norms". lol.. who does in an extended context?

    Both "studies" should be banned.

Both psychology and psychiatry prove to be very effective in helping people gain back, or gain, their lives. From what you've posted, it seems you're under the impression both fields are used to diagnose people against their will, or to commit them into institutions where medicine will be shoved down their throats.

Take someone who has crippling anxiety or agoraphobia. Those things can be debilitating without help.

They're very helpful. I recently started having anxiety attacks during bad weather, like during tornado season, and I've gotten a lot of help. There's definitely a need for psychiatrists and psychologists. It's not made up.

    shut up lol..

They're both evil practices, for a number of reasons:

    - They distrust anybody who doesn't follow social norms
    - they falsely pathologise people (according to them, men who like big boobs are evil misgonists who seek to oppress women lol..)
    - They only cite "mental distress" to be PC and "with it"
    - They tell their patients how to live their lives, and force religion on them
    - They have some plot to force society to be like Tibet and get everybody to "meditate".

Screw you. lol.. Mental illness doesn't exist. Perhaps YOU need "therapy" since you cannot accept the opinions of others.

Well, considering you're attacking every one who responds to your post...where you asked for opinions...I'd say *you* are the one who can't accept.

Yes, you did. this is your agenda, as I can tell this from your posts.

I'm not beholden to you, so who are you to question my opinion lol..

Can you cite contrary points to mine? Again, if you're an advocate for "psychology/psychology" and purport yourself so intelligent, you should be able to do so.
