IDK -- it would be a different def for each person. I think it is you aren't afraid to stand alone, speak your mind and stick to your convictions. Basically you are happy with yourself.

Hmm...Good question.

I suppose confidence expresses sometimes through the personal presence. If it is the kind of confidence that has been earned it is probably a mixture of mental strength , maturity and life experience. It comes from knowing one's limitations but approaching the world from one's personal secret power.

Unfortunstely many men think confidence = cockieness, aragance, treating women like dirt, being a player, so called stud and thinking the sun shines outa your own arse..

To me confidence means knowing what your worth and not settling for second best. Being asserive and going after what you want but once you get her, treating her right and not taking her for granted. It also means having self respect and not being afraid to just be yourself and not give a crap what others think
