Yes of course... I'm just referring to the fact that in the "media" of those times, women weren't sexually objectified more than men were (certainly not in the examples Smackie posted). Both men and women were sexual "objects".

Also, all the natural differences were taken into account, as opposed to "mainstream porn" nowadays in which all women are thin with big boobs and tiny pink vulvas, they get off via penetration alone and with improbable screaming and contorted facial expressions, etc... which is what young men nowadays grow up believing is the "norm".

There is more realistic porn as well, but it's harder to find.

This is one of those situations where theres a big disconnect between Women and Men... believe it or not men are much more practical when it comes to sex.
I don't get why you keep trying to make this a "man vs woman" discussion. I have said numerous times that I have nothing against porn in general - it's just "teen porn" that I don't quite understand and that disturbs me if grown men watch it. Not that this is the point of the thread anyway, as I've also repeated numerous times.

    Don't worry besides, I agree.

What about you Wakeup, do you think most grown men watch teen porn?

Actually, I can't speak about "most" men but I will say that the one's I know don't actually seek it out but they will take a peek if it pops up.

We have a daughter who while growing up had many good looking female friends, we usually took one of them away with us on holiday as our daughter is an only child and we feel it's important that she have good solid friendships (she's still good friends with a set of twins she met in junior kindergarten ). Anyway my husband finds it rather disturbing to look at "girls" the same age as our daughter and her friends, in conversation most of the men who have daughters feel the same way. So I'm thinking that, Young men without family will look and keep looking but once they father children (especially daughters) then that curiosity will no longer hold the attraction it once did due to the paterinal instinct... Meh... just my ramblings of course and no scientific proof to provide but I think that is the way it goes most times.

That makes sense. I guess it's not so appealing anymore once you know first-handedly what teenage girls are - kids, that is. I'm glad it works that way for fathers at least :-).

Teaching something and not listening are two different things, and I'll tell you one thing, it has nothing to do with young mens expectations due to porn.

What exactly do you mean by male "part"? Do you mean penis? Because it's not exactly hidden in modern pornography, in fact it's a huge part of every male on female porno. Have you considered how big the average porn penis is vs. the average non-porn penis? What about the way the men are always hard at exactly the right time, never go flaccid, never prematurely ejaculate and when they do bust a nut it's always at the perfect convenient time for the porno to end? What about how they are often able to go again immediately after busting a nut? Did you know that male pornstars actually inject viagra through a syringe straight into their cocks before a scene in order to stay consistently hard throughout?

    1) Our sex "education" system is a joke

    2) We have more people in one state than most of the countries we are compared to have in their entire country. What do the statistics say per capita?

Well, I agree it has nothing to do with what they are watching in porn. What I've seen recently the men are always wearing condoms and if they are'nt we (as a couple) find it not titilating to watch. This is non committed coupling going on and the STD/STI thoughts take away from the view if ya know what I'm saying. I will say that we talked to our daughter about porn and told her not to believe what she's seeing (if she's seeing it) as being what real sex is about. Actually, those acrobatic leg lifts on the bannister of a stair case look pretty effing painful to me... lol With the internet and whatnot, I'd say it's a pretty good idea to talk to your young adult children about the ACTING that is going on in this films and clips. Its well known that most young adutls are going to view some form of porn, might as well educate them on that as well as sex in general IMO.

Anyway, No bragging about your sex education system when it's obviously not even working America, I do believe has the worst stats for unplanned pregnancy in the western world. You can challenge me on that if you want because I'm just going by memory and have no site to source.

    Cheers.

Adding: I just searched and here's something on teen pregnancies per capita (per dicks question)

I agree with everything you've written here^^ you just quoted the wrong part of my post: this falls into the discussion about how mainstream porn is mis-representing what actual sex is like. In mainstream porn, men and women are represented in a way that has very little to do with reality and lots of young kids grow up thinking that real sex should be like porn - which is obviously a gross misconception.

In the sentence you quoted I was talking about the fact that in the media nowadays women are portrayed as sexual objects for men to use.

I think it depends on how much porn you're actually going to consider watching to get a varied data set. The premise of this is entirely off in my opinion, just based on the fact that you believe the majority of porn out there revolves around teens. I won't lie in saying that I watched enough porn when I was younger to get a good understanding of what is out there. Genre's notwithstanding its not hard to find the same videos with different titles to entice different people to watch them.

Its a money game, and a numbers game in regards to the industry.

I honestly just don't think you want to understand the actual reasons behind it.... as you make it sound like men who do it are all deviates in some form or another, and that, is of course, incorrect. For you it has to mean that these girls look underage. For you it has to mean that it isn't what "real" women look like. For you it has to mean there is something fundamentally wrong with their thought process to find a female of 18 or 19 sexually attractive. That is more a me(man) vs you(woman) situation, as even though I don't watch "teen porn" I can see both sides of the equation, and you're struggling to find the opposite despite the guidance of multiple people here.

But thats not how men think, unfortunately, despite what most people here want to portray themselves as doing. The common man doesn't see every woman with an age above their head. That, is unrealistic.

I don't think you'll ever find the reason that will make sense to you if you don't understand that -- there isn't a single reason -- everyone has individual reasons behind why they may watch it at some point in their lives... and most men, who watch porn, will watch porn labelled "teen" at some point... and what people do legally inside their own homes shouldn't be of any concern.

I think in developed countries, the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand have the highest level of teenage pregnancy, while Japan and South Korea have the lowest

And you said this as a rebuttal to smackie's point, leading me to believe that your argument was that since the male part is not on display as much as the woman's, that means the women are being objectified more than the men, or by the men, or whatever.

Or when you say "media" do you mean of the non-pornographic type?

Well, yes, because those are the kind of videos I'm referring to in this thread. o.O

No: I would find it equally disturbing if a grown woman watched porn videos involving people that looked like teenage kids (male and/or female).

But thats not how men think, unfortunately, despite what most people here want to portray themselves as doing. The common man doesn't see every woman with an age above their head. That, is unrealistic.
I understand that. I am only referring to guys who specifically want to watch people that look like they're teenage kids. Guys that want the girl to have an age, that want her to be a teenager.

most men, who watch porn, will watch porn labelled "teen" at some point...
So basically you are saying that you don't think most guys actually prefer teen porn. It's just another type of porn amongst many others, and it is watched with full consciousness that the women in it are actually older, and that the word "teen" is only used to denote the fact that the women in it are young and hot (i.e. fully developed). Basically you don't think it matters, to most men, whether the girl is "teen" or not, as long as she's hot. You also don't think most men would actively avoid watching a teen-labeled video just because the word "teen" is in the title. Correct?

I can't speak for LIF but I believe this is exactly the case. Like I said before, if a nice, shapely round ass walks by cocks are gonna get hard whether dat ass belongs to a 17 year old or a 45 year old.
