This girl said that she had a soft sport for some guy. My parents tell me that many other girls i've liked but rejected me only had a soft sport for me. What is the meaning of soft spot?

she cares for you. I have a soft spot for YC on here (forum member) he irritates the life out of others sometimes and they attack him but I like him and feel like I understand him so I am always nice to him.

Having a soft spot for someone doesn't mean you should enable them to be the way they are if the way they are is detrimental to their well being and happiness and their poor sense of self in the long run,

I think it just means she likes them a little bit but it is a feeling that could potentially develop into something bigger.
