I haven't seen, Nebraska or Philomena so can't comment on those at all. I doubt either would win because smaller movies.

I think 12 years a slave is the favorite along with American Hustle, but I liked the movie Her and Dallas Buyers Club more. I wonder why The Butler wasn't nominated.

i'd vote for american hustle but the oscars love movies like 12 years a slave. i'm gonna check what movies won in the last couple of years and see if there is a trend.

argo won last time didn't think it should have. i liked django unchained.
before that the artist won. boring imo
the king's speech- should have won so got it right.
the hurt locker, everyone thought avatar would win.
slumdog millionaire ( shocker?)
no country for old men ( cool movie)

so off those - dallas buyers club and american hustle could get it.

I liked both you mentioned, Rowen. I think the award show will probbaly be very predictable, the rest of the award shows are same winners.

Amer. Hustle was hilarious, the clothes and wigs lol. Bale and Lawrence were the best in it.

It's on tonight, very excited. I forgot it was tonight until 2 hours ago rofl. Going to a friends Oscar party where we dress up, fill out cards for who will win and person who gets most right wins a 100.00 gift card to buy movies etc. I plan on getting drunk and eating lots of chinese food =)
