I was going to ask "Of course it is, wouldn't you tell your guy friends you missed them?", then I remembered the whole gender stereotype thing we teach kids since the day they are born that prevents guys from displaying affection towards each other, lest they be deemed "feminine" and therefore socially unacceptable. Sigh.

Anyway, yes, it's perfectly fine. Just don't be cheesy about it or she might think that you are romantically interested in her.
