Well do you go to school with her, or know her offline, or online? Really the only way is just talking to her, or if you know someone that knows her ask questions about her.

It's not the conversation you have to worry about it's all about your body language. You have to feel confident, at ease, flirtatious, show strong eye contact, and then simple conversation. Really you don't have to say that much, just say hi, have the look of desire in your eyes, but be cool about it, and ask her questions about herself. The trick is to get in and get out of there quick. Being mysterious is key, you don't want to get into her space too much, it better to keep the encounter short, and ask for her number in the end. It takes girls 7 seconds to know if you are BF material or not, so if you over extend your encounter it will turn bad. If she gives you her number, you are in, if she hesitates, or gives signs she is uncomfortable about it, it's over get out of there fast, but be pleasant about it.
