Facebook Relationship Status VS "Real Life"

Hello everyone,
I'm 19 yrs old, and there's that girl that I really really want for like a year. She had a boyfriend a long time , and yesterday when I saw that she removed the " in a relationship " status from her Facebook profile. I was sure that the day iv'e been waiting for finally came. But...

A mutual friend is having birthday tomorrow , so I called the girl I want & asked her if she's going to come. She told me she's already got plans with her boyfriend.

What do you think the real relationship status between them ? What could it be?

It's Facebook, stop waiting for someone's fate to come to an end and think something will come of it.

You waited 1 year, what a waste of time when you could of looked for someone else.
You can always find similar personalities out there if your patient.
Date many girls and see which one attracts you.

Yes, she is really really hot, but I honestly in love with her personality - talking with her about anything, even the most boring subject excites me
