Too open with mom causing issues

I am very open with mom and I tell her everything that happen in my job. She doesn't like what I do cause is dangerous and every time I tell her something happened at the job she starts talking about how she doesn't want me to do that. Then I reply what does she want me to do if that's what I like and that I'm the one who's supposed to be happy about what I do. Then she says I have an attitude. Should I just stop talking about my business with her?
