"spiritual" is the word for people who want to feel connected to or believe in God, but are too lazy to make meaningful effort to find it.
Pope - congratulations! You have graduated beyond childish notions of God, and are now free to pursue more sophisticated theology. No one with half a brain believes in the version of God you broke up with. Look into more esoteric forms of religion, and I suggest you look into many denominations/faiths.
