I don't think it's a matter of god or not, but a matter of religion. It depends on the religion, but if we are talking about catholics in general:

There is nothing on the Christian bible about it, but my undestanding of their dogma is that anything that comes from animal instinct is a sin, specially if you let yourself loose to it. So the Chatolic answer would be to control it as it would be an immoral act.
