Anyway the father seems over protective, and this could be a major culture clash for you, making her incompatible due to 1) the way she was likely brought up and 2) interference from her father.

As a guy, I prefer to meet the parents soon so I can see how messed up or balanced they are. The nut doesn't fall far from the tree.
