eh.. i didn't do anything.. i had to tell my sister i locked her keys in the car which is so much worse because she started yelling at me in front of ten other people. i couldn't yell back because my throat really hurts.
but everyone was all like "don't yell at her because she can't talk back to you."
it was the only key we have too. guess i'm going to have to call some company.

Misombra, I guess I wasn't being clear. I DO have insurance, it's just that sometimes on mild little accidents like that it's sometimes best not to report it so that your premiums don't go up...in this case it was worth it because they people were TOO cool about it. In the end (to recap) I ended up paying only for the collision ctr. to take off the bumper, take a look to make sure there was no internal damage, and put back the bumper. They were going to ask for nothing more but since they were being so cool I took them to breakfast and gave her an extra 50 bucks to go with the 150 bill for the check they did. So in all it was about $200 plus breakfast, plus I got to meet these cool people. All in all, not bad. I still have to fix my bumper but I'll do that in Chihuahua.

Tone, my accident was I guess a lot like the one you described, except I was lucky enough to hit someone who was VERY reasonable instead of trying to milk it. These people were pretty much going to take the little damage and let it go scott free.

So there was a happy ending.
