    Engagement Ring Shopping

So me and my boyfriend are looking at engagement rings. Anyone had experience with Blueniles (online store)? Many of the reviews said people had a great experience with them, got a valuable product for less. But I am a bit reluctant because I can't see the ring in person and I am afraid the whole return/exchange process might be a hassle. The other option is to get something at a local store (I am thinking Tiffany's). He is on a budget ($10k-20K on the ring) and I prefer to set a limit on how much we spend as well so we can save money on other things. So, Tiffany's or Blueniles with our budget?

Oh, and anyone who bought an engagement ring with Tiffany's here? Can you get one with them with great clarity, color, cut, carat (the 4 Cs) for 10K-20K? Craftsmanship is also another concern. How is the craftmanship of blueniles' engagement rings and wedding bands?

A strong woman takes advantage of help she can get from people around her but she doesn't rely on them for anything

She uses logic and manages her emotions

She offers help either because it is a business transaction or out of kindness. It is never because she hopes others will return the favour or out of fear of losing them

She has her own mind and thinks for herself and knows that she has to be the one who bears the consequences of her decisions

You want a nice ring from Tiffany's, be prepared to spend $100,000. $10-20K is not going to buy you a nice one at Tiffany's.

wow, really? Did you get your ring from Tiffany's? How much was it and what is the quality of the diamond?

Btw, my hands are small so I would prefer quality over the carat size.

Anyone had experience with the craftsmanship of blue nile? That is the issue I stuck with. I am afraid that after a year or something, the ring is going to fall apart although their diamonds are good quality.

No but I have a lot of Jewelry from Tiffany's and they're not cheap. Go online and check out their engagement rings or better yet, visit the store and a Tiffany's specialist will give you one to one attention and advice as to what your money can buy you.
