Stone wall

So I work job where I meet new and same people everyday. There are younger girls, girls my age and older girls. I talk with all of the females who I find interesting. But it seems like they are just friendly. It seems like theres some barrier, like they wont let me close. Even with open girls who I can talk about relationships and personal things, seems like theres this wall.

So the question is how to get past this defense line, how to increase chance of success?

Well, some women put up a wall for the guy to climb to prove he is really interested in her. It is a way of weeding out the guys who are insincere. They don't do it consciously. It seems to be a trait that has survived by being genetically successful. In your case, it appears to be working because you are not exerting the energy necessary to climb the wall.

Maybe because it is at work and not outside work in a more free social situation? Have you socialized with any of these younger, same age, older women outside of work to see if the walls are still up when not inside a work environment?

I would say social outside of work too, people are more relaxed then, no fear of a boss watching, you can be yourself then and not have walls up as much.
