Horror movie ~ The Boy

Looks weirdly awesome & original & dumb but I want to see it.

Wasn't original at all I was disappointed in it ~ was same old shit they force feed us :[ If it was what it pretended to be it would have been a good interesting movie. Others liked it though, wasn't as good as I wanted it to be.

You know, funny thing is there were apparently two different movies called "The Boy" out right around the same time. Were you talking about the one where the family treats a doll like a real child or something like that? I thought that looked interesting too, so if that is the one you are talking about, I am disappointed to hear it was maybe not that good.

[MENTION=71386]TheEvilJester[/MENTION] ~ Yes, same movie the one that they make you think is a doll possessed by the spirit of a dead boy ( concept was cool ) but movie was a meh once it went through the movie & reveal. Marketing geniuses for doing the trailer as they did I am sure it raked in more money from people like me wanting to see THAT movie, & not as much the one it actually was. I might be hard on it because I was disappointed by the reveal but others who saw it with me still enjoyed it. :\

I may give it a shot just to see for myself. Though, what you say kind of makes me think I'll be disappointed too. Still, sometimes you just have to see for yourself. For example, that new Fantastic Four movie they put our recently.... it looked TERRIBLE. From all accounts I had heard, it was TERRIBLE. I was almost 100% sure it was going to be TERRIBLE..... but I wanted to see for myself anyway.

And, believe it or not, surprise surprise.....

It was TERRIBLE! LOL! Sometimes things that look bad can surprise you and actually wind up being okay or even good. This was NOT one of those times. Though, I am still glad I at least found that out for myself.

I'd like to watch Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, cause I'm a big fan of Burton's movies and Eva Green, The Dark Tower (based on the Dark Tower series by Stephen King) and Suicide Squad.

To update I did see this and sadly I found it tedious and boring.... I might not be into this kinds of movies anymore and it breaks my heart.
