It Jumped the Shark ( TV shows )

I realized I never made a thread in this section before so here is 1 for you to post on.

Got the idea off my wife complaining about The Voice tonight ROFL.
She ranted on about how it's not fair that Adam Levine always gets his team through and it isn't always the most talented ones but because horny schoolgirls want to **** A L, they callin in droves, or tweet/text rofl again and she feels because of that the show has jumped, like she said American idol jumped when Nicki Minaj was on it.

She also said Glee jumped when the male lead dude OD'd off herion in his hotel room!

What shows do you think have jumped?

I never heard that phrase before, somehelp4me. We have The Voice and lots of other countries do too and I find all of those boring to watch, same for dancing shows. I think Doctor Who is boring also.

the mentalist 100% i stopped watching basically right after they exposed who red john was, i think it jumped the shark right when they solved the red john mystery, imo.

I looked up Jumped The Shark ~
The moment when an established long-running series changes in a significant manner in an attempt to stay fresh. Ironically, that moment makes the viewers realize that the show's finally run out of ideas. It's reached its peak, it'll never be the same again, and from now on it's all downhill.
This expression originates from the episode of Happy Days in which Fonzie, dressed in his trademark leather jacket, literally jumps over a shark on water-skis during an episode shot on location.

We got True Blood & in watching the series on binge it should have been cancelled years before it was, which I believe it is taken off now.

I agree with Once Upon A Time, as soon as they introduced Frozen into it I lost interest.

    Bones has too.

I'm going to agree with The Simpsons, used to regularly watch it and nada now.
