Ya have to chat them up a little first, give them a compliment, then ask them if they want to go for a coffee or a slice of pizza. Keep the first date as simple as possible. During the first date ask them things about themselves, what they like to do, food they like, etc. Then use whatever info you got from them in the first date and put that into your second date.
