Feels like I'm going 2 steps forward 3 steps back with my ex?

So after I did no contact with my ex, I decided to message her for the first time in 30 days.

She seemed really cool at first, I could tell she did in fact miss me, and was genuinely happy to hear from me.
We talked all day, nothing forced, it was nice.


However today (a day later) she didn't message me first (not too surprised) and she's responding VERY slowly with one worded replies.

I realize that she could be busy, however, she usually would tell me if she was busy and say "ttyl" so I think she just doesn't want to talk to me.

Any pointers?

Is she the one who broke up with you? If so, I'm sorry to say it but it looks like she's not exactly regretting her decision. She probably was happy to catch up but isn't responding because she doesn't want to lead you on about the situation. I'd continue the no contact till you can completely get over her.
