My online friend

I have a friend I have been talking online for three years. We chat more than once a day. He usually initiates the chats.

Once I blocked him for three hours and he got very upset because I wasn't available.

He also says he loves me and wants to start a family with me.

However, he lives in another country and doesn't have the resources to fly here to see me.

I love him as a friend but I don't know what his deal is.....

Does he really love me?

Um. Well, while it is nice to have a connection albeit online only, you have never met the man in person. You don't know how he smells, how you feel around his person or the general vibe he gives off and nor does he to you.
There are many possible variables here.

I believe most will tell you to tread with caution.
If you really truly have affection towards the man, go see him.. You'd find out allot more that way. For example, if he's genuine about his feelings or if he has an agenda....
