Urgent help with girlfriend, PLEASE HELP

Right, I'm 16 and I broke up with my girlfriend recently because I found out she cheated on me five times from January 11 - Feb 15, out of that she did it once on Valentines day, a really special day for both of us. But, this was four months ago and I "Believe" that she's changed, but deep down I think that she hasn't, both inside and outside. BUT, here's the problem, every time I try to leave her, she gets really sad, and even self harms quite a lot. What do I do? Because I don't know if I can do it anymore, in fact I don't know if I can handle a relationship anymore. Do I leave her for good and essentially let her self-harm, etc, or do I get back with her knowing that I don't exactly love her? My love for her isn't that big anymore, I don't think it's there. Note: Me and her talk on Kik messenger and we have been for a week now since I broke up with her, but she's showed lots of love and affection towards me. Please help.

I would like to know how exactly she hurt herself, she needs help. You do not have to be with her but you can let someone older or call a helpful number for her behavior of hurting herself, however you do not have to feel you need to be with her when you know you do not love her or want to anymore, you are doing what is best for yourself but I would advice you to tell someone about her hurting herself. good luck

I know how tough it is when you know a partner will not cope if we leave them. However, it's wrong to stay in a relationship out of guilt. It's normal for a person to get really sad when they are dumped - so don't worry about that. But the self harming must be addressed with adult intervention.

End it firmly with no grey edges. No more messenger. Block her on other social media. If you're concerned about the self harming, then you MUST share the info about her harming with a trusted adult. Someone who has access to her and her family. If you're at the same school, a school counsellor would be ideal. When you've handed over the information, then you can get on with your life and someone else can help her heal.

A relationship shouldn't mess your head up....when it is this bad, it's time to go. You will feel great in a few weeks when you haven't seen or hear from her....go no contact, it will get better I assure you. There will be plenty more GFs to come..................
