Why do so many people have be so shy about this topic? Come on, the more we talk about it, the more normal it will become and the more people will be happy. Why is is disgusting? Its normal behaviour and is not even classed as sexual behavior. most adults, most animals and even Children and even babies sometimes touch themselves. It is a way to relieve stress, anxiety.. it comforts people etc and it feels good. Why not do it? If someone told you chocolate is bad, would you stop eating it??

Yes, I understand now the reason guys do it, and that it is normal. I just said it was disgusting because of how it looks. Just like pooping is normal, but it's disgusting to watch someone doing it or even to think about. Normal or not, when I caught him doing it in the bathroom it really grossed me out. I was a late bloomer and didn't start exploring my own body until I was about 22/23. I've only ever used sex toys during sex with another person, and only a few times. I use my fingers and it takes me anywhere from 20 seconds up to 7 minutes (give or take) for me to get off. To be honest, I prefer sex to masturbation; but I'll flick the bean from time to time, if it's been a while since I've had sex, or I can't seem to fall asleep haha. I think self exploration is very important in order to understand your own body and what/where/how you want to be touched. I definitely think masturbation needs to be discussed more often, especially among women and younger populations. Kids aren't told that masturbation is normal and healthy, which is ridiculous. Have you ever just talked to him about it. I have to say that the guy I am with masturbates on a regular and it actually is a stimulant for me.
