What do guys like as gifts though.

There is someone I like though. I want to give him a gift though I don't know what he would like ya. Does anyone know what kind of gifts would usually guys want from a girl. Any advice would be cool. Thanks.

Depends on what the persons interests are -- do you even know what they enjoy doing? What movies, or music they like? Could buy a DVD, CD, rock tshirt, get concert tickets and so on. Are they into sports, what team? get them something team related, or tickets to a game. How much can you spend matters too. I am into music, so I like anything music related. So figure out what their hobbies and interests are first.

I wouldn't like to get a spatula as a gift. The joke aside, anything that is close to his interests would be a nice surprise. If he likes cars a lot, get him a key chain. As Jffs24 said, if he is a sports guy, get sports t-shirt or ticket to a game. Doesn't really matters what you buy him as long as its something relevant. Don't buy him a summer hoodie if you have never seen him wear one, etc.

A lot of my male friends are gamers and that is usually what I will buy them for birthday gifts, some game they are interested in or a gift card from a place they can purchase games, new controls or headphones ( gaming accessories)

Like the others have said, that really depends on the guy. We don't know him, so we can't really answer that question for you. Does your fella like sports? Maybe a jersey or shirt from his favorite team, or some other sports-related item. Does he like movies? Maybe some sort of movie memorabilia would be something he'd like. If it were me, a sharp weapon would be a good choice. You know, or a virgin sacrifice. Those virgins are just so hard to find these days.

All kidding aside, the best kind of gifts are personal. You shouldn't necessarily just get him some gift you think "guys would like" because you should get him a gift you think HE would like. In other words, something specific to him would be better than just some generic thing that anybody would get for a guy.

Instead of buying a gift can always treat to a movie & dinner as a special gift to him ~ or better yet cook him a dinner or bake something sweet for him, brownies, or whatever sweets he likes.
