Whats a few good ways to build confidence?

What, in your opinion, are good (several if you would) methods to building confidence? For those who may be confused, this is directed towards attracting women.

Just look as good as you can (be clean and well-groomed) and focus on personal development (academic, career, and hobbies). People (male and female) will like you if you are interesting, and personal development is the key to having confidence.

I mean, smarta$$ pretty much covered it all right there. The best way to learn to be more confident with women is to just learn to be more confident period. There are a lot of ways you can do that. Take up an exercise program so you feel better about yourself. Take up hobbies you enjoy. Even better if they are social hobbies you can share with other people. That can help you to become more open socially with anybody (male or female) in a friendly manner which, in turn, can also help make you more confident around the opposite sex.

I think the most important balance you can have in the dating world is realizing that you are awesome and that anybody would be lucky to have you..... but at the same time being humble enough to realize you aren't God's gift to the world any more than anybody else is. In other words, if you ask a gal out and get rejected, don't take it too hard. That's her loss, not yours. At the same time, understand that she's well within her rights to say no, and if she can't even get past "hello" with you, then it just means she wasn't the right one for you anyway. Eventually the right one WILL give you a chance.
