    Something special????

My boyfriend's 25th birthday is coming up in less then 14 days and I was wondering if there were any ideas out there of what I could do for him to make it special???

I went out and got him a puppy a couple of weeks ago and he was all excited about it and that was his gift from me, but yesterday the puppy passed away and now I feel bad.

    Any Ideas????

The puppy came down sick out of no where. She was anemic.... she quit eating and drinking (although we feed her and gave her water to try to keep her alive). We took her to the vet and she was there for two days because she was dehydrated and they wanted to keep her on iv's and yesterday at 12pm she passed on. The vets told us that she had a birth defect that most puppies get and it is that the liver has a close off valve that is supposed to close off when they are born and if it doesn't close off the puppy has a hard time keeping necessary fluids and keeping glucose at the proper level.

Tone- that comment really hurt not knowing how much that puppy meant to us!!!

Well at least it's no longer suffering.

    Sometimes life just isn't fair.

As far as your boyfriend - I'm sure anything you do that you put thought into it - he'll absolutely love it.

I was going to insert a puppy joke, but then read on and decided not to.

But wait, you went back to the vet to pick up a dead puppy? Isn't that kinda gross?
