honestly it doesn't really matter.. wait i'm gonna have to take that bad. i wouldn't mind a chick from japan.. but that's pretty hard to come by. maybe like a second generation girl who isn't too "local". i swear, hawaii girls are pretty, but somewhere along the path, they seemed to have develop some attitudes.

dammit, i was typing too fast.. i actually meant "take that back"..
honestly though, i think that hawaii is the most unracist place. we got all types of people that you can imagine. i think when it comes to the fob japanese though, they tend to stick together because, well they are from a different country and probably aren't likely to open up as much to the locals. i have seen them at college opening up more to the white foreigners, but i'm sure it's probably because they share some of the same classes.
as for your friend, it's a personally matter. there are those few people than only want to associate with certain groups of people and to be honest, every place has them.

I met this guy on the bus on Hawaii once and we got to chit-chatting. He told me he despaired of ever finding his perfect banana girl- yellow on the outside and white on the inside.
