Alright. So i've been at college for 2 weeks now, and here's a brief summary.
Slutty girls are plenty. Pretty much any girl that looks slutty, turns out slutty. fully 80% of the people on my floor have "hooked up" aka at least made out, so far. Both of my roomates have condoms in their bedside drawers. one has made out twice, and i just walked in on the other one making out. Girls are, well, "hot" i guess. There are also decently pretty girls (ones that i'm into). I've "hit" on 4 of these gals so far... danced with one at the ball.. but then again although i'm attracted to these gals, I can't move out of the "friends" zone. and i've lost contact with 3 of them, although i have their online contact info, i guess. Amongst the 4, there is one that i have kept in touch with, as a really good friend. unfortunately for my poor soul, it seems like thats the way it'll remain. She is in the same school as me, which is really awesome cause my school is predominately guys and ugly girls. I've asked her out to lunch before and she's asked me, but either times we've just stuck to being friends. She pays more attention to guys sitting beside us than she does to me.. she is a social girl who likes to meet new people. The thing that hits me the most is how her personality matches mine. She's a virgin, and i believe is also a make-out virgin. I know she is cause she is religious and her personality and just her appearance. But unfortunately, i was at a get-together last night and she was telling another one of my friends how she's been dating this guy for the past 2 days. She feels like he's pushing her a bit since he desperately wanted a kiss (which she did't give). her last and only boyfriend lasted 1 and half months, and he broke up with her because shee wouldn't make out with him. Now THATS a girl i like. But yet it is crushing to me because she's one of my best female friends right now and i am definately interested, but it appears that it is "just friends" right now... not sure how things will play out in the future. but i'm just letting the universe take care of itself.
Are guys in college all about getting laid? according to my roomate, "dumb****s that just want pussy". i mean, those two guys she's dated obviously wants sex, yet that is the last thing on my mind. I know she is not into those kind of guys, but then again she is not really into me. the first time we had dinner alone, i was helping and consoling her because she was really pissed. I didn't even do that because i was "mac"ing on her, i just wanted to help someone. I am running for about 3 presidencies, and is already coordinating and piloting an exchange program with another university in another country--all out of my own initiative (schools been going on for 2 weeks). Am I just the hardworking nice guy that finishes last because i don't "mac" and just want to "be friends" first but then it ends up toolate? I refuse to believe that sex is all university is about.l

Sounds like you're going to get a lot more out of college than 90% of the other people there.
Sadly, yes, at least the first semester of college is all about sex for a lot of people. These people probably haven't developed very strong personal morals, and were just being held in check by their parents. Now they're like a bunch of animals someone let out of the pound.
You're an unusual guy. Surely you already know this. Try to just be who you are and let them be who they are.
I wouldn't want to go to college again for the first time for anything. You'll get through it.

yes i am an unusual guy. I already have a rep on my floor of being the cute little innocent boy who's never held hands or had a first kiss. Well ya the other girl that i really liked now officially has a boyfriend.. she has to tutor him calc on a "date" tomorrow.. i hate belittling people, but that's sad.

Don't make me laugh. I'll tutor you Calculus right now. Definition of a derivative: instantanious rate of change for value (a) in a function f(x). Derivative will give us the formula we need to find this rate of change, known as the slope of the tangent line for point (a). To find the derivative "f'(x)", for f(x). You take the function f(x), and compute it through the formula (n*x^(n-1)).
Here are some examples:
f(x) = x^2 f'(x) = 2x
f(x) = x^3 f'(x) = 3x^2
f(x) = 3x^3 f'(x) = 9x^2
f(x) = 10x^10 f'(x) = 100x^9
If you get the concept, then its really easy to get the second and third and (n)th derivative of any function f(x), so long as it is differentiable.
Here are the same examples from the top, but starting from their first derivative, to the second and third:
f'(x) = 2x f''(x) = 2 f'''(x) = 0
f'(x) = 3x^2 f''(x) = 6x f'''(x) = 6
f'(x) = 9x^2 f''(x) = 18x f'''(x) = 18
f'(x) = 100x^9 f''(x) = 900x^8 f'''(x) = 7200x^7
Calculus breaks off into different parts. It depends what you use it for, you wouldn't care, you just want to get with this girl. Well, now you can know that you know how calculus works, and know that the other guy she likes or is calling her boyfriend has no clue.
