Try this, shorter on the sides and back, little more on top and front. It's not fancy, but it's clean and I probably most any dude would look good in it.
I only say that because that's how I get mine cut now.

now i would like to see a picture of you. i've never seen you with longer hair.
anyhow i will probably go shorter on the top and front.. and grow my sideburns out a little. perhaps an inch on the top.

are you guys still recommending shorter hair? still think i would look better with my ears lowered? i was thinking shorter, but i don't think i would like the way it would look from the side.
