why do males at clubs wear long sleeved shirts?

I sometimes wear long sleeved shirts, they just look cool. But sometimes it gets a bit hot in long sleeves, and I like to wear what is comfortable.

^^^ i'm being serious... i live in hawaii and it's hot all year round. i can run around almost nude in winter due to all the heat.

I think it's to make sure they have a better chance of getting in to a club, a lot of places send you packing if you don't look smart.

I agree with others though, long sleeve shirts are crap, I only wear them for high profile parties otherwise I wear whatever I like. I also think women should wear what's comfortable for them > than what looks slutty.

I agree. Women always look so much more beautiful when they're dressed in simple, practical clothes. That's why I prefer picnics and bike rides over fancy dinners and parties when I take one out.

I think it's because it makes them look more "polished" up for the women. There's definitely some form of dress code in most clubs, which is stricter for men to abide by. I don't think you should wear them if you don't want to though. You might look half-dressed, but what does it matter? Most people go out to bars to either network or to have fun. If you're there to have fun, then you don't need to look polished.:)
