Eye make-up / Irritation

do you get waterproof mascara? those tend to not get into the eyes. also do you wash it off at night?

yep, i got waterproof Dior and I use Lancome eye make up remover to wash it off at night.

You can also use baby oil to remove makeup, its cheaper!

Maybe it's the waterproofing... I never wear that stuff - it's harsh on the lashes.

Who cares what brand? Just try non-waterproof.

all that expensive shit always irritates my face. i have sensitive skin and i used to think the expensive stuff was better. it isn't.

the cheapest, old timers remedies work best for me.

but hell, non waterproof mascara ends up all over my face. can't wear that shit.

Wrong...I've seen it applied plenty fine. But I'd much rather see them without or very little makeup. You're confusing looking better with what some of us really like. I like girls that wear very little makeup just because I think it's a waste and completely unnecessary. Really the only time I like seeing them done up is when it's a special occasion. Something like going out to a black tie event. Does it make them look any better? Usually, but it's not what really attracts me to them. for some reason i am afraid to use the less expensive stuff. i am used to thinking what you pay is what you get.

It makes no difference with mascara in my experience. Except for MAC eyeshadow, it's mostly vanity.

Try out the more expensive drug store stuff.

Black girls never have to wear much makeup because they have so much pigment in their skin already... no washing out of the skin colors for you! You are lucky.

Ha you say it like I'm dark skinned or just brown skinned. I'm white! LOL! When I dont go out I am paaaaaallllleeeeeeee. So it is a problem for me as well. I turn red for every little touch and I get blue-ish when I am sick. So I'm unlucky.
