Yep (time for a tangent), it's like that saying in economics: "There's no such thing as a free lunch". Instead of having the lunch, you could have been doing something more economical with your time (or making money), so no matter what you do, you have to sacrifice being able to do something else with that time... in effect, nothing is free (affirming misombra).
