I don't know about the IB since only AP is used where I live, but the kids I know in AP classes are extremely articulate, highly motivated kids that will be running the world in 20 years. They work very hard and play very hard, but they know how to prioritize.
Man IB is the shit, I'd be all over it if it was in my district.
