I have an interview with a small residential electrician.
I don't know if it's a one man show or what, but he says he's starting to get into solar panels and such.
I did mostly commercial work, working with pipe and MC (sorry, metal clad cable), runnin' that stuff on metal racks, through metal studs. He would most likely be running romex (non metallic sheathed cable) through wood studs. Plus, it's more likely he's doing service calls and working with existing structures than new construction.
This may not be bad depending on the pay. It would be nice to expand my experience to the service/residential side of things.

That does blow and probably didn't feel very good. Nice thing is they do recognize how good you are at what you do and how valuable you are to them and want you back as soon as they can afford to rehire you.
