I know...so funny. I read that part in CB's post aloud to my boyfriend and he laughed at it, too.Quote:

SB, I think you know I manage a large department.
Many (okay, most) of the conflict comes from bitchy women. When evaluating things like this, the most important thing for me is determining the motive of the individuals involved.
That said, your motive for your comment was for the company good. You were perfectly fine in your comment as well as your delivery. Others agreed with you. The problem was the person taking the criticism personally (not your problem).
I think your going for a friendly lunch is a good thing. However, in my experience this kind of thing rarely disappears on its own.
You need to have a private, frank conversation with your supervisor about what happened. Both the event, and the fallout that happened with this second employee afterward. Stay calm, state your concern (that you were trying to provide valuable feedback for the company good), and then let your supervisor handle it. He/she may do nothing for the time being. But be assured that she'll be watching. And the bitchy employee *always* comes out on the losing end of this game.
I've fired gals for this kind of thing. But it takes me a while to build their file to justify it. Meantime, stay cool. Whatever you do, DON'T respond to the attacks. Just alert your boss.
This is sooo true. Women together form this mob mentality. One with a mildly legit concern & the other 25 clueless as to why they are actually upset. :PQuote:

I find it interesting how masculine some women can be. I know one who's a guy in disguise. She's pretty, but never wears any make up, gets irritated when people comment on her looks, wears military style clothing, excels in any physical activity, does kick boxing and prefers to punch people to showing any signs of emotion. She has a nice figure, but you quickly forget about that and treat her as one of the guys. She's attracted to guys for some reason.Quote:

yeah except most of the raptors aren't like that. They're babes. If anything they're hyper-feminine, some of them.
