Its too easy to hurt someone doing that...you never know which one is having sex because her friends are doing it (but secretly, she wants something real). It certainly can't be determined by their enthusiasm for sex or even the fact that they've got some incredibly hot body. You just never know.

Yes, cologne does help. Having noticed the state of most young guys these days, bathing, oral hygiene, and running comb through one's hair (which often needs cutting)...and for the guys, try a razor to trim yourself out of the Stone Age.
As I am interested in women, I find that a comb would help their looks, too. Try wearing pantyhose if you are wearing a skirt or dress. Hey, you might even want to learn how to walk properly in heels and don't take long strides like you are a soldier in a North Korean military parade. Maybe swing those hips. Ya know, pretend like you are a girl. Just for fun, of course.
