UPDATE: I knew it. It blew up right in my f*cking face. I spilled it to her in person and, apparently, she's way too into this guy. I gave her an old ring of mine a few weeks ago, and before I left her house tonight, she said she'd wear it forever. Sounds to me like she doesn't want to hurt this other guy's feelings. No, it was her telling me that she's not leaving this guy for me, pretty much, but, true, at least she knows now, she's just playing the whole "you'll-get-over-me" thing, and she's trying to hook me up with one of her old ugly friends that liked me back in high school. She doesn't get that she is the only woman that I want right now. She told me that if I had come along a month earlier, things would be different. I guess that I have nothing to lose now if I were to plant a kiss on her, huh?
i don't think a month is long enough to be THAT into him, you know?

Now, I think progress has been made. She calls me whenever he's not going to be around, which is getting to be pretty often. We hung out for a few hours and all we did was laugh. All this after I told her how I felt about her. Maybe she's intimidated by this guy. Is whooping someone's ass too cliche nowadays? She kept holding onto my hand and she said she liked my cologne and she didn't want to let go of me by the time I had to leave. F*ck it, I think I'll just play it cool and let things happen, because that's what it looks like is starting to happen. She told me that she doesn't want me to be a rebound, and that she wants ours to be a more serious relationship. I think she knows what she is doing. She pulled out all of the old notes I wrote to her back in the day, and we found a real important one. She had tried to commit suicide and she wrote me about it. She needed someone to talk to and she felt worthless and the note was me telling her how beautiful she is and how important she is. I think she was almost crying. That one got through to her. She begged me to see her twice tomorrow, so I'm, of course, obliging. It looks like she wants to break up with this guy, but she's not sure how to do it. Like I said, though. I think she knows what she's doing and I'll just take this as my opportunity to sweep her off of her feet. I'll keep you all posted!
Okay, now is when I need more help. I've been going to her work on 3rd shift and seeing her. We've made significant progress and she's actually told me that she loves me, but she's still dating this guy. I assume their attraction is ppurely sexual. There is no doubt in my mind the way she feels about me. She's doing me a favor tonight, (dyeing my hair) and she said that we'd have to do it at her house. Should I make the first move? She gives me those eyes we all know, and I know she wants to kiss me, but she doesn't want to feel like a cheater. She doesn't want that guilt. So, in turn, that gives me free reign to make the first move, right? She'd only kiss back if she wanted to, I assume. By her rules, she's already cheated on him with me anyways. Opinions or ideas?
If it helps to add to the picture any, I have from 10:00 tonight to 7 in the morning almost alone with her. This is where we've made the most progress and been most truthful with each other. She says she loves it when I come out to see her at work, then afterwards, I give her a ride home. She could just as easily say that she's using me, but then, there would have to be some kind of physical contact other than hugs. I'll kiss her lips tonight whether she's expecting it or not...
why hasn't she broken up with him. i think she's headed toward the "date two guys" dark side...

Hells yeah I've tasted eyeliner, and it's nasty. The point is that this girl could run a marathon or two and I'd still lick her neck directly afterwards should she ask me to. I'm a slave for her and I think she knows. I'm not saying she uses me because she seems very sincere. But then again, she has lied to her boyfriend over the phone with me standing right there, so I'm pretty much assuming that their relationship is based purely on sex, and how can I compete with that? Yeah man just be ready for anything.. if you have to confront him let him know you're talkin to her and that for his own good you suggest him to move on and leave her alone. A good ass whoopin (that he MORE than deserves if he's been abusing her) might make him give up.. but he might need a few if he's that obsessed. Just don't let her go anywhere alone, and be sure to walk her to the door every time :P
I walk her to the door every chance I get. She is very aware that I care, and she told me to give her a few days to decide what she's going to do. My impatience was messing with me, but a friend told me not to worry. He told me that she's going to choose me because I've told her how I feel. She said she's never felt like how she does when she's with me. So, now, I'm just waiting for a phone call. She knows that if she chooses him, she won't see much of me again, and she said she couldn't do that. Today she's hanging out with a girl that he wouldn't let her see, so that's progress. She knows I love her and that I won't control her like he did. So, like I said: Now, I'm just waiting for a phone call. Probably late tonight. Thx.

UPDATE: All is well. She made her decision and she chose me. We've been dating a couple weeks now and everything is excellent. She tells me often how much she loves me and that I'm the best boyfriend she's ever had. Turns out that she loves me as much as I love her. We're together all the time. I told her that I have always loved her and she told me the same, and that she just had to figure a way out of her relationship. I swept her off her feet, alright. Her abusive ex is all but forgotten and her focus is me now. We have so many plans with each other. Thanks for all the help. Really, I mean it. THANK YOU ALL! Watch for updates.
