Some of the advice that people are giving you is horrible.
So says the guy that's been stuck on the same girl since... when? Was it junior high?
Anyway, there isn't anything that will help when a person is committed to maintaining the emotional fantasy. After all, moving on - even in your head - means that you have given up hope for this relationship, and some people need to have that hope remain intact.
