Wow, I still read these and I have to say that, yes, I took him back. I mean I think I just didn't effectively communicate the GOOD aspects of the relationship in my initial post- I really truly do love him, I always have and I always will - and he makes me really happy. Yes he has done some hurtful things but I really think he has grown a lot over the last few years and that he is ready for a serious relationship now. I think we will be spending the rest of our lives together.

I was in your situation, my dear. I thought like you did. I was wrong. He would try and improve himself, and everything would be good for a few months, then he'd be back at it again. It's an ongoing cycle. And you're being sucked right into it.
