Ace, there is nothing wrong asking for help. Anonymous forums like this are unique in that people (including men) can actually safely express their emotion w/o being subjected to the stigma & ridicule that can happen IRL.
But Charlie has a point too. People who are too emotional (men and women) tend to suffer overmuch in their lives. Those who should speak up more don't and those who should suck things up more don't either. Put them together and you get lots of suffering.
Its a question of knowing which issues are worth getting upset over and which are not. There is a lot of value in being able to blow off *minor* issues in a marriage. Ppl who don't learn to do this run into big problems later, I've found.
Anyway, there's my attempt at being a bridge on this issue.
Wanted to give an update here.
The weekend was amazing, and she said all my fears were unfounded. We bonded again on a really deep level and I am going to keep everything she has said in the forefront of my mind...She took me to the ocean, my fav place, rented a chalet...
Shes the most amazing person in the world.

Hey Ace - I have to tell you that you are one lucky bastard. If after only 3 months you had the nerve to express any opinion at all about the parenting of my kids, I would have booted you. That boy is HERS, just as your kid is yours. I hope you learned your lesson.
I know how lucky I am, and told her that and I will NEVER interfer in anything related to her kids in front of her kids. If I want to speak to her, I'll speak to her behind closed doors.
