Well I got her some thorntons chocolate.
She text me today and she sees me as a friend now which sucks. Things might change but I don't know. If it's meant to be then it's meant to be. Should I eat the chocolates myself or should I still give them to her on friday?
if a girl says "let's be friends first" she wasn't really all THAT interested to begin with. It means she isn't attracted to you, but if some sort of magic occurs, she might change her mind.
Eat the chocolates yourself. It won't do you any good at all to give them to her.

I agree with Vashti. If we are really interested, the last thing we do is suggest friends.
I know I've never wanted to be just friends with a guy I really liked anyway. It's the same as guys don't like being 'just friends' with a female they may really like.
A lot settle for that situation though and in the hopes it will progress to more, but it very rarely does.
