I just kinda skimmed this thread didn't read it all the way through, but, I'm a HUGE fan of tattoos. I have several, and none of them hurt all that much - for me, at least, it helps to watch what the artist is doing - for some reason it hurts less when I'm watching him than when I can't see him work.
Maybe I'll post pics of my tats sometime.....I have a treble clef intertwined with flowers on the back of my neck (I'm a music fanatic and play piano) a heart made of rose vines (horribly cliche i got it on my 18th birthday before i was old enough to know better) on my back, a bracelet on my left wrist, initials of my ex (also cliche and dumb) on my left ankle, and on my right ankle I have the celtic symbol for wisdom and truth symbol, with the names of my two little boys - that's my newest one and I designed it myself, and is my favorite :)

Impressive collection you have there.
Im only 18, but im planning to get a tat, and Im wondering if I 'know better' yet :oriental:

lol!
Sorry. Some people know better when they're 18 - I led a sheltered childhood and did not ;)
I just think if I had been smart, I would have thought of a tattoo that actually meant something to me, instead of just some trendy flash design. But hey, if that's what floats your boat then more power to ya :D

that's what i'm asking you. you have the design, yet the design in your picture was already on someone's shoulder. raverboy

Actualy it isnt on anyones sholder, I used Photoshop to make it look like it is on someones sholder to see what it would look like.
Infact thats not even a real sholder
