Diggity, if you are still out there, I found your guide, AND your calm, non-engaging responses to all the negative posts EXTREMELY mature.
You have obviously spent a lot of time synthesizing a lot of varied info out there (some of which I have also read & thought about summarizing here, BTW) and I think that many will find your post useful.
It IS true that this forum gets a fair bit of spam, and I certainly appreciate the lack of commercial content. I'm glad you stuck around long enough for me to read some of your responses. I hope you will take the time to read some of the other posts that are here and share with us your advice and experience.

Being nice should be natural, not an effort. Women are not stupid creatures. If anything you do is controlled by the fact that you are trying to make her see you are nice, then you aren't letting the situation flow naturally, and likely she will see your efforts for what they are. I still see a lot of guys go overboard with the "niceness" stuff. I am not talking about just being nice, I am talking about going overboard. The majority of people that said they think the guide is pointless were all women. This kinda reminds me of the movie "Hitch"...
Anyways, I don't see what was so bad about his post. It wasn't completely off, nor did he say that was THE way to go at women. I assumed that this guide was for men that were completely lost.
Oh and it's funny how people complain about a post being too long. This is the only forum that I've been to that people complain about reading. I mean really. If you weren't interested in reading about dating tips for men, then don't read it. If you are, then read it. It'll only take 10 minutes. And if you are interested, 10 minutes wouldn't be long at all.

Yea, I was trying to be nice and telling him I didn't think people would read that long of a post and instead to find out who would like to and then send it to them so he wouldn't get so much hostility but then he decided to get all huffy puffy! I feel bad we ran someone off, because he did have good inof for certain people but when we tried to state differnet things about his post he got all defensive!!!!

I did think he was a bit of a tight ass with his "well, I said I'd leave and so I'm gone" thing. Especially since he didn't actually hang around long enough to find out about others on the forum. I only got to see his posts after he had already decided to leave. There are others, such as Nomas, who have interesting relationship theories that I think he would enjoy discussing. I also wonder what else he loses out on in life by making such snap and irreversible decisions. Too bad; our loss perhaps, but definitely his.
Maybe he will come back and we can give him a chance to start fresh. And he can give us the same.
