The vast altitude of a skydive makes it difficult to be as scared of it as compared to if you only jump from a few dozen to a few hundred meters. You become detached because the distance makes it too difficult to realize what's happening.

#3 is correct... I like the adrenaline of both Rock Climbing & Sky Diving would give you, so those are definitely ones I want to try.
