I get what Exeter is saying tho... you are NOT anti social on here, Jester ...not one teeny bit.... lots of posters are tho ( they just don't give two shits about anyone but themselves...)..LOTS. So, if you are IRL you make a strong effort to not be online and the newcomers should be grateful for that because you give them indepth helpful replies...plus, you post on others threads not only your own, and you comment on pics others post or things going good or bad in their lives...

Suggestion for new season when it starts.
How about reviewing old & new IT movies. IT reboot should be released a& maybe online for free by then :]
I would be ALL OVER that. I would love that. Though, in fairness, that does require people to watch two different movies. LOL! Not to mention a couple caveats....
1) The original was actually a mini-series, and I believe originally on TV, and therefore the whole thing is like 3 hours long.
2) I believe (I could have heard wrong) that the new movie is only going to cover the first half where they are kids, with a new movie coming (maybe next year) to cover the other half where they are adults. I could have heard wrong, but that was the rumor I'd heard.
Still, I'd be fine with this myself.
I'd be in for reviewing the mini series, which is easily accessed online or the newer movie when it is released... or even both... as a two part reviewing session.
Yay! That is at least three of us up for that. Since Exeter was next to suggest & I know he has said he likes that movie & wants to watch the latest remake he should be up for the idea too.

I have already run it twice, so I would personally prefer to let somebody else run it. It isn't that big a deal, though, especially if we have already made a selection. The hardest part, frankly, was the vote. No matter how we tried, we almost always wound up with a tie and had to break it somehow.

Eager to get this going since I can actually be online a little more now to participate. If you both watched either the old IT miniseries or the new IT movie, you got one hurdle down with the watching because I think one of those or both ( IDK) will be what the movie is this time around.
Ok, I will rewatch old IT to refresh my memory this weekend.
I can make up a thread asking which members would prefer doing out of the IT/ King options we have suggested.... and another member can make up the actual posting thread, okay?
I am not making a poll because I had issues my last time and not interested in the time hassles because is my bedtime now, haha.

I know pcmaster doesn't like horror in particular so maybe if he doesn't want to watch that IT movie he could make up the reviewing thread & move it along for members & ask questions( don't need to see a movie to ask questions, only need to see promos really) so ask him to make the review thread?
Any member can step up to make the reviewing thread if they want to, if no one steps up I will make it up for us. I won't be on again until next week though, so rest can decide what you think is best.

Just watched "It Follows" on Netflix past night. Actually a pretty good movie! Kinda spooky. For whatever reason, I found myself getting a little scared watching The Thing alone for the first time years ago, and it kind of re-ignited that feeling. The whole "IT CAN BE ANYONE" aspect is scary.
