Rafael, you seen this yet man?
I kinda wanna see it. I don't really like 50 cent much, but I still wanna see it.
White people - stay out this thread (esp you OV!) - I don't care to hear about how dumb a movie this is and how stupid 50 cent is!

...i was like, 'WINDOW SHOPPER?'
then, not too long ago, i saw FIDIES music video, and i remembered those posts! classic!
LoL yeah the song is old and played out now ;P
And there is like 3 different versions of it, too.
I kinda want to see it but I think it's gonna be a take off to what eminem did.. "8 mile"
He said White People stay out of this thread! ;)
LOL, i'm allowed to talk because I like the same music that he does.... I don't count!!! LOL
LoL I was just kiddin white people.
But I mean it when I say don't come in here talk 'bout how dumb you think the movie is gonna be, etc.
Yeah, well I liked "8 Mile" so that's why I think I'll like this.
Me too Tone, but I also like eminem. So that's why I liked it!
Yeah I thought he was a good actor. People are sayin 50 cent is a good actor too, so we'll see!

There's no such thing as rap.
hey , just read this thread , no i havent seen this movie .
i heard its not bad actually , but in my book, 50 cent insnt that "great" ... sure he had a couple of good songs here and there but i wouldnt buy his cd or even download them . Im kinda out of my rap/hip hop "phase" , i just dont dig it anymore . too many every year , nothing consistent .
I would only watch this when it will be on TV (satellite) or if i donwload it , unless i go with the whole crew of friends and sneak a couple of beers in the theatre , drinking and joking around whenever 50 pops someone on the jaw .
I might go see it since i got nuthin to do the whole week , got kicked out of Adult school , ill check it out ( if i do ) during the day for a cheap 4-5 $ .
i just hope 50 's lines are comprehensible and not some crappy dialogue because of his screwed up mouth .
i saw him on an interview last week and he spoke just fine.
This movie = the gayest thing since gay came to gaytown. 'Nuff said.
have you seen it?
A little bit yes, I walked in and caught about 20-30 minutes of it after I got out of Walk the Line. A good movie to compare it to really. Both are about musicians, however one is a post-mortem testiment of an artists life while the other is about a trend artist who's career is beginning it's decline. It's hard to respect a movie that's made just to shake one's ass on the screen in an attempt at one last big payout. To be consistent I felt the same way about 8-Mile which I saw in it's entirety. It's not about my dislike for his music either because, quite honestly, I didn't know anything about Johnny Cash either nor did I ever even hear any of his music save for Ring of Fire.
All in all, both are typical stories of rises, falls and rebirths of a popular musician but Walk the Line has a lot more taste and substance. I can't bring myself to feel anything but shame for someone who feels they need to be chronicled before their entire story is over. When Johnny Cash died it was a fairly large media event, do you think it will be remotely so when 50 Cent passes?
That depends on whether 50 Cent is murdered by another rapper or dies of natural causes, don't you think?Quote:

And I liked 8 Mile. Yes, it was the same old story (this genre has been done to death) but it gave me a greater appreciation for rap music.
You didn't even see the whole movie and you're ripping it. Typical.
This is what I meant by stay out of here. That was the most terrible comparison ever.
Like shh! said it depends on his cause of death.
Having seen neither film, I'd say comparisons between the two are moot.
That was just stupid. Regardless of what rules you want to place on your threads the fact remains you're asking opinions. If you just want to hear peoples optimisms then you're in the wrong place bud. Frankly, I expected that kind of retort from you, but seeing as how I've seen more than you have I'd say as it stands I'm in a better position to give an opinion. 30 minutes was more than enough to help me scoot out of the theater. Opinion given, chill out.Quote:

Hey you might be onto somethin there, Hayward. Wonder if he's that ignorant about forming his opinion on people too? Or do you think his ignorance only applies to movies?Quote:

It always amuses me that the terms of "ignorance" and also "hypocrisy" are often exemplified most by those who use them often. Fascinating...
How do you figure? I'd really love to hear your explanation to that comment.
I've tried to be nice to you, I've tried to get to know you. But you always have some smart ass statement to make around me, and I'm sorry, I'm not just gonna let that kind of stuff go. I even tried helping you in your serious thread about your lady friend you are interested in.
We could easily be buds, but the fact remains, when people say stupid shit - I'll be the first to pop my head up and call you out on it. Sorry, that's just me!
That's not how I am.
My goodness, do I have to put you two in seperate corners?????
Any explanations I give you don't read. You find something in it you don't like and just flame it repeatedly.Quote:

If it gets explained and we still don't agree, it's ok. We don't have to agree, just accept that the other person has developed a different view on the topic. I know it's obvious but flames seem to go pretty often between us so I think it's our biggest issue.
{holds out olive branch}
What's olive branch suppose to mean?? Is that a DISS on my PERUVIAN culture???? YOU ASS!
No but really you have good points.
