merry ****ING christmas, citizens of loveforum, and staff!
yay :) as it's 3 AM it's technically xmas here already.. so, i'm going to sleep, because the sooner I fall asleep the sooner I can wake up.
btw, did you know, in germany they have the 'kristkindl' instead of santa, and they already opened all their presents today. damn them!
Merry Christmas everyone! Or as you say it in the states.. Happy Holidays/Seasons Greetings. Maybe you should just say Happy Winter! :D
happy winter, eh? i find the happy holidays ridiculous myself.
Frohliche Weinachten!!!!! woohoo.
yea i knew about the kristkindl. but i am not sure what it is. isnt that when those crazy guys go to the houses and steal all the sexy young women or something like that? tell me about that, damnit :)
heh I like how silly Happy Winter sounds. I mean, i'm an atheist, and I don't mind saying Merry Christmas.
Fröhliche Weinachten yourself :)
0.o ...the Kristkind basically means the Christ Child. And it delivers presents on xmas eve. And that's all I know 'cos I was never in germany over Christmas.
*shoves a Fröliche Weinachten in Tiay's crotch as she moans with pleasure*
:-P

No sane person is offended by the words "Merry Christmas". The whole "Happy Holidays" bit is simply a way for retailers to try to get people who don't celebrate Christmas to spend their money, too. It has nothing at all to do with anyone being offended by religion.
yeah.. and anyway, christmas has little to do with the birth of christ anymore.
I hope all of you who celebrate Christmas have a very merry one, and to those who don't, the movies are open, and so are Chinese restaurants. That's is how I will spend my time tomorrow. :)
which movie? :)
Night in the Museum (or something like that). Then Chinese food. Yummy.
nice :) so.. you don't celebrate xmas, or..?
Nope. Bah Humbug! :D
isn't there something you celebrate instead?
( ^ haha that sounds like i'm like, five)
Well, Hanukkah comes close to Christmas, but i don't really consider it an equivelent. It's really a kid's holiday, and not really an especially religious one.
xmas is mostly for kids, in my mind... It's just never going to be that exiting and mystical again :| unless I get amnesia tonight.
I think of Christmas as being for either kids or religious people. Ah well, I wish you a merry one all the same, and I suppose I should hope for you to get the gift of amnesia. :D
Merry Christmas you all! :)
And to you, Ellynn! I hope you won't get lumps of coal in your stocking.
indeed :) and now, hours after saying that I would, I think I better really go to sleep! Have a great day tomorrow, everyone, no matter what you're doing!
haha, I don't even get a stocking this yr. :(Quote:

Merry Christmas everyone. I think I am the last to say so cause I am on the west coast. Unless you live west of me.
Everything is going grreeeaaat!
I got a cell phon, a Marines bible and a portable dvd player from my relatives. Plus a 100 bucks.
Still lots of yummy presents under the tree.
I got my Girlfriend a very expensive necklace (drained my bank account) which is a slanted gold heart with half of it covered in diamonds.
Then, I got her a swooners CD, which she adored.
She was working on something for me, but she said it didn't work out well so she is gonna make it up to me. lol She said she didn't deserve my presents cause her didn't work. Silly girl.
I'll write some thing about my whole deal later I guess. Or at least give a link to my myspace. Everyone should post what they get on this thread.
Merry Christmas
you for got the begin tag :-PQuote:

See, that's what these holidays are really about.
That's all I want.
That's all I want.
Sounds like it.
My whole family thing was pretty much classic. Like, about 50 relatives. Dinner, gathering around the piano and breaking out the violin. Everyone singing Christmas songs.
Classic.
They we're all glad to see my girlfriend and made her feel like part of the family. She was amazed since her family isn't like that at all. They all hate each other which is sad.:sad2: So it was good for her. :D
Actually, I'd just like to say, I'm glad I can still come here and spend some of my Christmas with you guys.
I don't know what I'd do with myself if I didn't have you guys to vent, converse, debate, and laugh with.
This place is definitely a haven for my mind, and "soul" for that matter.
ah how sweet.
merry christmas everybody! and happy all those other holidays you may participate in.
(Loud)
HEAR HERE! :D
Not sure which one so I did both. :)

my brother tried to open a few gifts. (he is 16) i shot him with my airsoft pistol :D
i am thinking about going to bed now.
we always open our gifts christmas eve night. we're just impatient catholics i guess.
i am starting to wish i was catholic...
my mother always makes us wait till christmas morning... and even makes us wait till she is good and ready at 10 am and we wake up at 7. it ain't gonna be like that this year. :)
10am!!! i would just bust my seams if i had to wait that long.
i am going to open them when i wake up. i dont care if anyone is up lol
well i hope you get good gifts. i left some room under the tree so santa can fit my new mercedes underneath. i better go to bed before he sees me with my lights on.

So, I'm gonna write this now, and I hope everyone else will do the same. Write their own stories and stuff.
So, we pick up my girlfriend at her house, it's her first time seeing anyone besides my parents in my family. So we go drive along onto the tulalip tribes and go see my grandma. (i'm not native) Anyway, we arrive, we bring arms full of gifts and I introduce Morgan, and it's about 12 o clock. My cousins are all their except strom he is in Iraq and my two older brothers. We sit down while grandma tells od Christmas stories and soon everyone finally shows up. My two cousins and their husbands and little tiny babies, my aunt and her husband, my other aunt with her two kids my dad, step-mom, myself and girlfriend. So it was pretty fun. We sat a talked for two hours and at 2pm we had dinner. Then after dinner and pie we opened presents and alot of good laughter went around. Lots of thankyous and hugs. I got a Marines Bible, which brought me to tears. My oldest cousins husband got it for me. They wanted to give me something I could take with me when I leave for bootcamp. I got Morgan a tilted heart of gold (a necklace) with diamonds on one side. She looked rather ravishing I might say. Then, I got her a swooners Cd. Which we listened to on the way to Seatte. Well, after two more hours of fun. We finally left and headed down for Seattle. The CD I got her we popped in and the first song was "Come Fly with me" by frank sinatra. Which, of course I sung to my girl right next to me. It was fantastic. Both in the back seat of a huge van, it's dark out and we're embraced and staring into each others eyes. I never felt so in love, then at that moment . Anyway after much twisting and turning we finally arrived at my Great Uncles mansion. It's actually right across from Bill gates. Anyway, we climbed the long steps, knocked and entered instant joy and happiness. lol Family isn't it? Anyway, we mingled and I intorduce Morgan to everyone, they were delighted to meet her. Alot of "You can keep him" went around. They made her feel welcome and what not. Wee little kids ran around and people drank, laugh and sung. After 7:01, we gathered around the piano, about 2 dozen people (There is about 40 but not everyone sings) and we began to sing Christmas songs and carols. I sat next to Morgan and we sang together to each song, once again very wonderful I might add. Sometime, before that actually, I gave her, her third christmas present. We outside on the steps, and looked out upon the giant lake, with all these homes across the way, lit up with lights and the stars shining down. I couldn't have asked for a better present. So, later presents we're handed out and after more mingling and whatnot, we finally left. It was good to see family again, and better to have my adoring girlfriend there. Anyway, I hope everyones Christmas was as good as mine. I still have to open presents and all that. I'm gonna wake up by bringing in the lap-top into my parents room and playing the link above really loud. hehe. Well, Merry Christmas... and a Happy New Year.
sounds wonderful :)
all my extended family is in germany, so we're just having it within the family. I love the anticipation, so I wont open mine just yet.. at least, not all in one go.
I don't even get that! I would take the stocking empty anyday though.Quote:
