During my period I'm constantly aware of my vagina and lower abdomen, it's like this queasy tender feeling. I have had sex during the time before, but usually I just can't get in the mood because that area just feels like a no-go zone. I don't know why, it didn't ALWAYS used to be like that.

You should talk to a doctor if you think it might be serious. It could jsut be nothing....but on the safe side go talk to her.
