yeah i have been wondering this for a long time what is it? how do you know when you are in "true love"? what made true love more different than love? is love just for sex?and true love is when you truly like someone for there personality? not just there body?
True love is what is left over after infatuation wears off. (If you are lucky.)
true love is when you still want to be around that person despite her flaws no matter how great they may be. True love is when you stick through tough times with that person despite sometimes doubting her insanity. True love is probably when you keep on accepting back the same person despite her cheating on you a million times over..well thts in my case anyway

and muspi, i hate to say but i dont believe that someone who is truly in love is capable of cheating. that person is either rotten or is faking love or lying to himself saying he is in love. i was madly in love once. it was inconcievable for me to think of another girl. girls would hit on me, i even got a "i want whats in your pants" at a party once, 4 hrs away from my gf, i would never have gotten caught. i didnt dare. the guilt would eat me alive i was way too in love, even after she broke my heart, it took me several months to even be able to THINK about other girls.
fair enough vorguen, up till this day even i still doubt my wife 100% after our history but i dont know..ppl say id be better off without her but after years together on and off i just cant see myself being with another girl, waking up to see the same face over and over again. I don't talk to her anymore because I respect her relationship with her husband. He would know that I still feel something for her and that would make him very uncomfortable. It would be disrespectful for me to intrude emotionally or otherwise on their lives.

ei, true love may varies from each other situation.. :) some, true love for them is to set their loved ones free.. some, brave enough to fight for them. you see, the definition of true love, has a lot of meaning.. also, has a lot of interpretation. we cannot say what is the ultimate meaning of "true love".
